I have to admit. I am afraid of my refrigerator. My husband and I now have four kids, and between all of us, you never really know what you’re going to find in there. I think it scares me because it always smells.

I was recently given the opportunity to review the Oransi Fridge Air Purifier. When it arrived, I’m not sure what I was expecting, but I was skeptical. I kept thinking “how is this little thing going to freshen up my fridge?” Let me just tell you right now – I.Love.This.Product.

1. It’s green. Well, actually it’s white and orange, but as far as the environment goes, there’s no waste because it’s filterless, it cycles off and on to save battery life (pair it with rechargables, and you’re golden), negative ion output (score one for the ozone!)
2. It’s safe. The Ionic Fridge air purifier has received safety certifications from GS and CE as well as the RoHS lead free directive. Made of durable fire-resistant ABS materials. Tested for ozone production by ITI (Industrial Research Technology Institute) and found to be 0.011 ppm which is 78% below FDA limits.
3. IT WORKS! Seriously, this sucker works. When doing this review, I was expecting to need at least a week for this thing to work. I literally put it in my fridge (holding my nose) before I went to bed, and when I woke up to get milk the next morning, my fridge was ODOR FREE! I can’t help but think that my fridge is a cleaner environment with the Oransi Purifier.

I am a babywearer. Babywearing is the practice of wearing or carrying a baby or child in a sling or other form of carrier.
Ultimately, I love to babywear, because I want to be close to my baby. Who doesn’t? He’s happy, I’m happy, and the whole family is happy. One of the main practical reasons that I babywear is so that I can be hands free around the house and when I’m out and about. Now that I have four kids, time isn’t always on my side. It’s easier for me to put the baby in a carrier and do laundry, walk around at my son’s baseball games, or go grocery shopping. Not to mention, babywearing also doubles as tummy time, which is probably why Jett is such a strong little boy already!
Before Jett was born, I was given the opportunity to review an ERGObaby baby carrier. For obvious reasons, I wasn’t able to truly review it until recently.
One of my favorite features of the ERGObaby is the padded shoulder straps so that the weight of the baby doesn’t cut into my shoulders. Another fantastic feature is the strap that goes across my back to keep the shoulder straps in place. Pair these with the waist strap extension for those of us who do not fit the cookie cutter model body type, and I have the perfect carrier.
For babies up to 4-5 months, ERGObaby also has a HEART2HEART infant insert for babies who are not ready for the sitting position to aid in supporting a healthy spine, pelvis, hip joints, and leg position. (I did not use it in the photo to the left because it was a hot, humid day.)
